River Point and Wekiva Springs Reach Health Services Agreement with Coventry Health Care

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – (July 20, 2010)River Point Behavioral Health and Wekiva Springs Center, both Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facilities, reached an agreement with Coventry Health Care on a long-term contract that will provide access to behavioral health and substance abuse services to Coventry Health Care members. The new agreement took effect April 1.

Under the new partnership, Coventry members will be able to receive covered services from River Point and Wekiva Springs at in-network rates.

“Our goal is to work with our health plan partners to allow access to network services at both of our hospitals,” said River Point and Wekiva Springs CEO Gayle Eckerd. “We look forward to this partnership with Coventry Health Care as we continue to deliver high quality care to our community.”

Coventry plans covered under the agreement include: Coventry commercial products, Network Access products, First Health Network PPO and workers’ compensation products, and Medicare Advantage products.
